Our relationship with Cornwall goes all the way back through the mists of time to 1992 when we first arrived as art students in Falmouth. We've been travelling back and forth ever since, pulled by an invisible string, back to this place of salt and mizzle and pasties until finally in 2012 we both found ourselves here on a more long term footing. 'Salt-in-the-Blood' comes from Tim's adventures at sea in our old ship 'Albacore', from the story of lost love it inspired in a major art project by Lisa and from our long, enduring love for Cornwall and a life which is constantly coated in the fine, salty mist of this ancient, watery place at the edge of the sea. And now here I am, jumping for joy that not only can you watch the film and read the book, you can now also wear the tee-shirt! - Lisa, Summer 2020 |
